The  probe is scanning over the surface, the scaned data goes into the computer then this can be used in cad or cam for machining. The scaned data can be combined to generate multi-impressions parts male or female parts etc.

These very big  window patterns were made to replace old castings.The new castings had to have opening sections as the building was to be use for apparments in lostwithiel  near hayle in cornwall
